The mission of the non-profit Oxford Academy Foundation is to provide financial resources and assistance to promote the educational advancement and success of our students. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible. (Fed. Tax ID: 33-0878766)
Oxford Academy Foundation Supports Building Tomorrow's Leaders
Oxford academy is open to any child in the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD), regardless of economic circumstances, through a rigorous entrance examination. We are the public school of choice for academic achievement and college preparation in Orange County, California.
Many of our students come from disadvantaged backgrounds, both cultural and economic. More than 20% receive some form of government aid. They continue to achieve academic excellence while overcoming hardships. They have contributed to help rank Oxford Academy second in academic performance after only 4 years of circular development.
The Foundation's Goals:
Support the additional classroom instructional personnel to maintain low student/teacher ratios
Acquire supplemental funding for classroom educational activities
Acquire state-of-the-art technology for promiting the educational program
Enhance our library media services
Promote student foundation skills and competency development for the 21st century economy
Create an appreciation for the arts
Promote positive and healthy lifestyles
Foundation Near-Term Strategic Objectives:
Support a teacher
Support Staff Development - Provide supplemental education for teaching staff development and inspirational guest speakers at campus events to bridge the gap between the health and business worlds.
Support Library Expansion - The 21st century requires access and tools to exploit high-technology research databases, including internet access, subscription services, and library equipment security.
Development - Provide grant writing support to the career pathway development for access to state and federal funding.
Makeup the Shortfall in Facilities / Equipment - Promote use of technology, such as laptops, tablets, advanced presentation technology, and color printers by providing adequate supplies.
Provide Community Outreach - Support student and teacher involvement in Project Hope through the faith-based Boys and Girls Club for tutorial services in English and math.

IS OXFORD ACADEMY A PRIVATE SCHOOL?
No. Oxford Academy is a public school, and the school of choice for academic achievement and college preparation in Orange County, California. Oxford Academy is open to any child in the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD), regardless of economic circumstance, through a rigorous entrance examination.
WHY DOES OXFORD ACADEMY NEED MONEY?
As a school of choice in AUHSD, Oxford does not receive funding that many schools receive.
Oxford does not get EIA or ELAP funds because it doesn't have second language students.
Oxford does not get Title 1 funds from the Federal government because it does not have students who are "at risk."
Money allocated from the State to schools has been significantly reduced so extra programs are difficult to fund.
Oxford does not have a football program, which is a significant money maker for most high schools.
